Ethereal Ascension Bio

Ethereal Ascension is the project of Rich Ambler who currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida. He has been playing music for over twenty years and picked up many styles and influences along the way including rock, progressive rock, new age, electronic, world music and ambient.

His first love was the guitar, and later fell in love with synthesizers because of the almost infinite selection of sounds to create different moods and textures. With the invention of virtual instruments he was able to expand his sound arsenal with the most advanced synthesizer sounds and samples, intertwined with software re-creations of vintage electronic synthesizers from the dawn of electronic music.

He composes primarily instrumental music, painting a picture in your mind. Creating moods that are happy, sad, sinister or silly. A soundtrack for life.

On his cds he fills the roll of composer, arranger, performer, mixing and mastering engineer, producer and graphic artist for his cd cover designs. He runs Ethereal Productions in Jacksonville, Florida where he produces and distributes his cds.
